Ways to join EarthE Honors :: 1/ Honor your friends and others for their eco actions and choices by giving them EarthE art, words, music, environmental games or other goodies that you create, get from us or from other resources. >> 2/ Challenge friends and others to take eco actions/choices, then honor their successes with EarthE awards, dances, handshakes, credit$, cheers or other goodies that you create, get from here or find elsewhere. >> 3/ Pledge to give one or more EarthE rewards or EarthE challenges every day. VoxErth is a call to all musicians, writers, artists and fans to help create a wave of art, words, songs and media that is a voice (vox) for our exquisite biosphere. Join Team Erth to help manifest this eco-logical media that will inspire actions that help protect our planet.To join VoxErth:: 1/ If you are a songwriter, artist or writer, collaborate with us or work on your own to create media about crucial eco issues. Add a link to your projects on our blog and Facebook. 2/ If you are a fan, sponsor one of our eco songs, videos, artistic or media projects that focuses on an eco issue that you care about. We will also pitch your sponsored project to one of your favorite musicians, artists or actors. Volunteer positions are available as well. 3/ Stay connected via Vox Erth Facebook and the Newsletter. 4/ Print and sign the Vox Erth pledge/ member card, and give some to friends. *For example, Stele Ely is a musician working on a VoxErth's project called *140 Love Songs for the Earth*. Explore ecofx to see how to quickly estimate the ecological effects of a product -- including the impact on natural habitat (in square meters or feet), plant and animal life (in kilograms or pounds), carbon footprint and extinction and humankind.ecofx levels:: 1/ Check out the wiki to find the environmental impacts of some products (and services). 2/ To estimate the loss of natural habitat potential in square meters to make a product, multiply the kilograms of CO2 that are released to make the product by .8 (or 80%). The ecofx calculator does the math super fast. >> [In pounds to square feet.] To estimate the loss of natural habitat potential in square feet to make a product, multiply the pounds of CO2 released to make the product by 3.8 . 3/ If you don't know the CO2 emissions for a product, estimate it based on similar products from the ecofx card, the wiki or the short list. The CO2. section has some tips on how to estimate the CO2 emissions with the ecofx card, short list, lcacalculator.com, google and other tools. 4/ Print the ecofx card for some quick help when estimating the ecofx of a product or service. It has three ecofx formulas, and the CO2 emissions for some products. 5/ Sign the ecofx pledge that says, 'Before buying (or selling) a product or service, I pledge to estimate the ecological effects it has on natural habitat, on humankind, extinction and/or climate change, and then decide if the personal benefit outweighs the environmental impact. more >> XOEarth 
Draw or sew an XO (as the human and the Earth) on your clothing, skin*, belongings or on an XO bracelet to show that you take 1 or more eco actions every day -- and to help manifest a bold Team Earth.To join XO Earth:: 1/ Take 1 or more ecological actions every day to protect our exquisite biosphere. 2/ Draw, paint or sew a blue or green XO (with the human as the X, and the Earth as the O) on your clothing, personal belongings, skin* and/or on an XO bracelet that you make. 3/ Add an XOe or XOXOe to your blog entries, emails and other writing. 4/ Help others put on the XO for taking eco actions every day, and for joining Team Earth. Options :: • Blue or green pens, markers, paint or embroidery can be used to put the XO on clothing and belongings. On the skin use ballpoint pens as they are non-toxic by law. • Print and sign the XO Earth member card, and print cards to give to friends. • Make XO Earth bracelets, anklets and flags with strips of fabric and markers. • Get an XO Earth Credit/$ at participating stores and/or enter EcoLotto. • Join XO Earth on Facebook to stay connected.
